Extreme Gratitude
This week, this saying is my new season. I have lived a lot of my life being frustrated with myself because I never can produce what I think I should. The beauty of that quality is I push myself just about every day.
This last week my life flipped in a second and I had no control. Zero. Nada. In the midst of what I would normally find as extreme frustration came extreme gratitude. Not even the kind of gratitude you try and conjure up. I’ve been in a lot of those seasons too. This is like being enveloped in it.
Because of gratitude, gratitude gave me a second gift. Present. I haven’t spent a day bored. If you know me you know that’s about impossible. I’m not bored because I’m doing so much. Ha! I’m literally doing nothing, and yet I’m very aware of right now. My thoughts aren’t jumping. Im not stressed about whats due. When i can do something i think it’s pretty great. It’s really quite hilarious. There’s amazing peace in living and staying in right now. For whatever reason, God said you’re going to rest and you’re going to enjoy It. Craziest experience ever.
At some point this will change. Im ok with that too. I am hoping that this time in my life never leaves me. I want this lessons to be written on my heart because there Is something about the view from here.
