Three Part Problems

Here’s an fyi on why diagnosing what is going on with you makes a huge difference. We have 3 places where problems can arise. Your body, your soul, and your spirit. Each has a different solution but has similar symptoms. When your body, soul, and spirit are struggling, it shows up as anxiety. The issue then comes in where is this coming from?

6 weeks ago I fell off a horse at a high speed and banging up my body including my brain badly. The result was a lot of pain but worse yet was the anxiety. It was through the roof. When I left the hospital my heart rate was running 110 plus 24/7. When I got home, I added a chest cold and I had 4 broken ribs. Think somewhere around hell.

In the past, my anxiety wasn’t coming initially from a body problem. Actually, by the time I got bad, I had a three part problem.

This time, my anxiety has come almost 100 percent from my body. When I hit my head, it flipped the parts that emotionally regulate on and put me in fight or flight for the last 6 weeks. Even harder though was any tool I had used in the past to get it down wasn’t an option because of my other injuries. Also, this time because my body had a lot of broken places it actually needed peace and rest. For some this would be your best day. For me it’s double hell. Every time I would push through though it made my body worse.

I have ended up having to take doctors advice seriously in order to get back on track and my anxiety under control. I also had to be given new medication to lower my heart rate as it had been from 100 to 140 24/7 for 6 weeks. Think about laying down but your body is going for a run. Not good.

This week I have finally headed in the right direction. It’s a bit of a hard go because physically I just can’t do whatever I want. I can’t lift over 10 pounds.

I’m putting this out there because there’s a lot of people who have a body problem. Either you are in a ton of physical pain or your brain is off and it’s causing anxiety and you don’t know where it’s coming from.

1. Go to the doctor. Yep, I know, you hate going to the doctor. Me too. Thing is, if it’s a body problem you have two options. The first is a healing miracle and the second is medication to fix what is firing off wrong in your brain. Trust me, it’s a beautiful thing when you can get your brain balanced out.

2. Be very careful about your thoughts. When your anxiety is high, it puts you in a ton of emotional pain. If this goes on for a long time, there’s lots of bad places your brain goes. This is how we lose people. I’ve had recent experiences with this and I forgot how much it’s living in hell. Here’s the hope though…the second your anxiety goes down, your hope comes back. Almost immediately. Be very aware that you aren’t thinking straight and you have a body problem. Getting it worked out will be a game changer. Don’t give up.

3. Be kind to yourself. Anxiety beats you up and distorts your view.

4. Most important…you’re not in your right mind. You’re in a ton of pain. Get some help. For every day of hell I’ve lived in there’s 100’s of good days. I hear you about the hell. You’re right. Your hell though has a fix though and you need to go get some help.

Tonight I’m praying if you are in that place that you find the peace of God to live in and either a miracle or a good doctor that can help align your body up to heal. Just don’t give up. You are too important.
